About
RELAY is a site-specific composition for dance and drum set. It is inspired by/centered on palimpsests, this is, by ancient manuscripts that preserve the traces of earlier writing (erased purposefully through artificial methods). RELAY plays with the mechanisms of forgetfulness and rememberance in the processes of composing and coreographing, and it both departs from and develops through the performers’ bodies.
