Synopsis

In 17th-century Catalonia, amidst a context of repression and social control, Caterina Freixa is accused of witchcraft by a neighbor and denounced by fourteen other women who, under torture, betray her in order to save themselves. However, in an unexpected turn, fourteen prominent Catalan jurists rise in her defense, presenting a document that challenges the established norms and questions the justice of the witch hunts.
